Cape May, New Jersey

Several years ago we stayed in a nice campground in Cape May, NJ. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name...and a search didn't spark my memory.

Can anyone recommend a campground in or near Cape May or Wikldwood Crest?

Many thanks!
  • Thanks so much Folks! I appreciate the info and suggestions!

    Happy Camping! :)
  • My vote in the area would be for Seashore Campsites
  • Holly Shores is a great campground and located just north of Cape May along RT 9
  • The only campground that is in Cape May itself (it's actually in West Cape May) is the Depot Travel Park. It is a very small, quiet but clean and friendly park. There are very few amenities (such as a pool) but you can very easily bike to the ocean, the boardwalk, or go anywhere in this beautiful Victorian city. The parks that others have mentioned are all full service and many amenities, with pools, lakes, some have mini-golf, etc. are actually located outside of Cape May (10 minute ride to Seashore Campground, 15-20 minutes between the others mentioned to Cape May. Our favorite is the Seashore Campsites but the others also have much to offer. Hope this helps!
  • Seashore Campsites is very nice, It's just off of route 9 very close to Wildwood and Cape May, We stayed there in May. A little further away, near the cape may county zoo it Big Timberlake, The back in sites are very nice and spacious. Stayed there this past weekend. It's about 20 minute ride to WW of CM.
