We stayed in Holly Shores two weeks ago. The lake is not swimmable, but the pool complex is very nice. Sites are gravel, not dirt/sand, which drain well and are level. Lots of no see'ums and mosquitoes, but that's Jersey camping. Bathhouse near our site was outdated by very clean. Expect to pay a quarter for showers; again, that's Jersey camping. I don't recall any noise at night, but kids weren't out of school yet. Have fun!
