- sher9570ExplorerA great park, dog friendly and you can take your dog to the beach across the road.
Clean, nice size lots. What specifics are you looking for.

Sher - Mr__CamperExplorerTry Ho Hum, just a bit further east and you won't have to cross US 98. If you have kids stay at Carrabelle Beach.
- luvglassExplorerHoHum is nothing more than a gravel lot with a very narrow beach and no swimming. If you're not in the first row you might as well be anywhere. We spent 2 weeks there in the spring and it seemed lake a month. It's pretty remote.
- Aadkins101ExplorerWe loved Carrabelle Beach where we stayed for a month last February. I can't think of one single negative about the park - it's lovely. It's a 10+++. We looked at Ho Hum...no thanks. As mentioned previously, just a parking lot.
- KA4EBUExplorerStayed at both in both the old and new state for each. They are 2 totally camping experiences and each great for this intent. I agree kids would be better at Carrabelle Beach, there is road to cross for the beach but there is a pretty nice beach.

Sher
Just looking to see what folks experience was/is. My son's family and his BIL are going there end of July and have asked me to come down and hang out.....may be a moot point.....I checked on line last night.....no spaces available....will call today .
Thanks to all and especially thanks for the info on Ho Hum...I had looked at that one also. - sher9570ExplorerWell hopefully if you can get a spot I know you won't regret it!
Sher - car2900ExplorerWe spent a few days there last year. Very nice park. The spaces are a little close together. Great place to relax, walk on the beach, and get a feel of the way Florida was years ago.
- manleyExplorerI just wanted to give a little love to Ho Hum.
Yes, it is two completely different experiences!
If you have kids, please go to Carrabelle Beach, because Ho Hum has nothing for them.
If you want a pool, please go to Carrabelle Beach, because Ho Hum doesn't have one.
If you want to be on the water, go to Ho Hum.
If you want to be with some of the friendliest hosts and finest people in the world, go to Ho Hum.
If you ever want to see me down there, you'll have to catch me at Ho Hum.
Here's just one of the many reasons:
We had reservations, starting today, for three nights at Ho Hum.
Based on the weather, we decided not to go.
I was just waiting on the office to open so that I could call and cancel.
I fully expected to pay a cancellation fee, and was prepared to do so.
Before I could call, one of the hostesses texted me and said the weather was awful.
Just sayin'... I've stayed at both, but Ho Hum is my favorite.
It's comparing apples to oranges. - ct1964upsExplorerHoHum has some great people running it...
We went there cpl of yrs back between 2 FSU football games with maybe 8 Motorhomes..not an official group, just 8 friends, brought some great BBQ from a caterer with us...they saw us setting up at one of the RV's and said to us...you can use the meeting room while you are here, all you have to do is keep it clean and lock it up at night...so we ate there for the week....no charge....BUT...the point is, THEY OFFERED it to us...great place to chill out...Chuck
