looking to go to carson city Nv for a month in july or august. never been there before and looking for any campground recommendations that are nice... just looking for a clean and up to date campgroun...

Before attending a family reunion in Reno in '14 I did a lot of research and we stayed at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort in Verdi. I know it's a ways from Carson City, but with the good freeways and moving traffic (compared to what most of us get to experience anymore) I recommend Gold Ranch highly. Right on I-80 at Calif. line, the campground sits back far enough that highway noise was not obtrusive to us. The place was clean and well-maintained, staff was friendly, and I will stay there the next time we go to the Reno area. Our Sept., 2014 back in rate: $32.25/night.
