Castaways at Massey Landing

Has anyone stayed at the new Castaways at Massey Landing. I understand it just opened in May 2016.
  • If it's anything like the other one they built at the same time it's an open field with very small sites. Sunset Beach RV Resort is the other one I reference.
Massey Landing is not nearly as close to the ocean as they portray unless you have a 'copter.
  • I stayed there the last 3 weekends they were open. It is a very nice place. They should be in great shape for the 2017 season as they were working hard prepping the sites and seeding when I was there. I was lucky to get a water front site one weekend, which I enjoyed. Just like anywhere, If the weather is nice, your stay will be nice. Check out the web site Resort at Masseys Landing
  • Drove through last year when we were in the area. Nice "classic beach" campground. Pool area was very nice and there's a bay front beach in campground. Sites were ok size-most of them in full sun. Really liked the place. Only negative for us was it's location. If you want to go into Rehoboth or Bethany beach areas it will probally take close to an hour if traffic is heavy.
  • The Resort at Masseys Landing. Let the daughter use the trailer in June 16, down there, nice flat area, no big trees for shade yet. Sites are level and roomy. Nice new buildings, roadways were smooth.
  • Check this place out while there. Just a few miles from the CG. A great tropical setting with good food and music.

On Edit: The developer of Masseys Landing has purchased a large tract of land just south of me near Earlville, Md according to the local news paper last week.
