Siamese castaway
Right after I laid down heard a big bang. Garfield was sleeping on the swing. Apparently a Siamese cat came along and he jumped down and made it swing into the house. Garfield is pretty hefty.
Went outside and thought at first I saw a light colored fox. Big ears and tail. It was a blue point Siamese about half the size of Garfield and maybe a year old. We had one once registered ,expensive cat. Darn thing chewed the ends of a rocker to a mess and other mischief. Too much wild in him to play long. About like a juvenile Raccoon.
It is a pretty chocolate and grey and blue eyes. I need another cat like another lump on the head. Someone abandoned it somewhere near us and it is around the house. Won't let me get too close before running into the woods but it will sit at a distance and watch and listen.
I've been sorta hoping someone would abandon a good pup for a companion to Dakota but not another cat.
The hawks have been around for a week or so now. The big ones and the Falcons won't be far behind, or maybe already here but, I haven't seen them. Want to see that pretty Falcon again. They may get them a cat or the big ole hooty owl I've been hearing or the coyotes. So I guess it will be two small fiberglass dog houses on the rear porch and bells on two cats this winter, If I can figure how to keep them from pulling them off.
