Catalina State Park, Arizona?

We have stayed there several times. Great park with hiking opportunities. IIRC all sites are back in with water and electricity. The dump station was on the road in/out.

They DO take reservations - see their website. Here is a link to the page that will get you to the reservations. You best have them.

Unless things have changed, AZ state parks don't take reservations--first come, first served. Get there early and you have a good chance of getting a spot.

I've been there 3 times in the last two years. Loved it. Good scenery, good trails, park is clean and well-run. Supplies and non-camping entertainment are not far away, should you be so inclined. Be sure you have reservations.

We were there a couple of years ago in April 2010. The camp host said that if we had come earlier say Jan or Feb we wouldn't have been able to get a spot because it's so popular with snow birds. That was in 2010, don't know if things have changed and we didn't have reservations.

Just for info, there is a group of "Forum members" from another Forum(IRV2) that go there each year between Christmas and New Year's. I havent been yet myself but it sure sounds like a Fun group. Have a Great time!

Catalina SP is a very nice place. Been there twice

We live just south of Tucson area and I highly recommend Catalina SP. Beautiful and lots to do and see in Tucson area.

Make sure you get down to Madera Canyon by us as well.
