CG & thgs to see/do nr columbia, Charleston. and Savanna SC

We will be traveling through these cities in early November. Most likely we will only stay 2-3 days in each location. Can you recommend some campgrounds and places to see, things to do etc. in each?

For Charleston we have stayed at James island county park. Obviously I don’t know what your interested in but I enjoyed Charles towne landing, (palmetto island?). You can go to the old slave market downtown. There really is to much to do to list here. I generally don’t enjoy going near a big city for vacation but this is one exception.
