The State Parks I mentioned are east side of Dayotn the KOA is in Brookville/Englewood west of town. Personnally think going from the east is easier. We live only a couple of miles from the Museum and have for 30 years. The only campgrounds really close to the Museum are primarily full time but may rent for a shorter time if they have the room. One in Enon is one but I wouldn't recommend it. There is one im Fairborn close to WPAFB we stayed in when we moved here but don't know if they still do short stays. Think the choice is one of the State Parks or the KOA, pretty much a toss-up.
