Having a hard time locating a good reviewed (non military) cg in this area. Anyone stay in this location that could recommend something nice for a longer term stay (2 weeks+)? RV reviews doesn't give me much hope.Thanks for the help!

There's really not much in the area. Up until about 10 years ago we would stay at the Visalia/Sequoia KOA on Avenue 308 at Road 76. It's far enough off of the freeway so no noise. It's an older campground but acceptable. The rvparkreviews.com are a good reflection of what we experienced. We no longer go in that direction is why we haven't been there in 10 years.If you don't mind a drive our favorite in the area is near Three RiversHere's the website: http://www.sequoiarvranch.com/It's about 25 miles from Hwy 99 so it would put you about 35 miles from Hanford.

If you are there during the fair the fairgrounds have full hookups. Otherwise Visalia is a good place at Country Manor.

If you are traveling further south, there are several good parks in Bakersfield.

Thanks for all the help..Really struggling to find anything suitable other than your suggestions close by.Wonder why that is? Looks like a nice area close to the mountains,you would think there would be all kinds of nice parks close by, but then again, I know nothing about that part of the US.Thanks for the help, your advice is very helpful!

Try Coalinga. Nothing around Hanford and if there was you WOULD NOT want to stay in it.
