We stayed at Chama 4 years ago for the sole purpose of riding the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR. Stayed at Little Creel CG (it was o.k.). I want to say it was Rt. 17 (and you may not be coming in that way) we were treated to spectacular views of the Conejos River valley.....!!!
