Champion 2000 inverter

Can someone tell me where I can find out the info on the difference between all of the different model numbers on these generators( the 2000 champion) ...I understand some are 1600 w continuous and some are 1700..... in other words can two of the same model numbers be used in parallel or is one a "master " and one a "slave"?...or better yet can someone let me know where I can find threads,posts , ect related to this....I am trying to find out as much as I can before I "pull the plug" and buy ....yes I would love to be able to go red or blue but I have read enough positive feedback to know that the yellow should serve me well.
