Chippokes Plantation State park

Chippokes is a great place to stay. The older section has short, unlevel sites but has lots of trees. The newer section has lots of nice paved pull thrus and back ends, all about the same size. There are some nice restaurants in Smithfield. There is a ferry over to The Willuamsburg/Jamestown area. That is a huge tourist area and there are tons of restaurants. I cannot name any specifically since it has been a while since we stayed in that particular state park. Chippokes has a nice pool.
