I've found that stopping at the first visitor center as you enter a new state offers a lot of plusses. Most have ample pull thru sites for RVs. Gives you a chance to stretch your legs, use their bathroom facilities, check at the desk for the latest road construction, and pick up brochures for CGs to stay and things to see. Skip the "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" brochure. The answer is "Not".
