Civil War museums along Rt 81
I'm heading south on Rt 81 and would like to stop at Civil War museums. What is the best one? Bradndale

VMI in Lexington, VA has lots of civil war history. Robert E. Lee is buried there or next door at Washington & Lee University. I think Traveler is stuffed and on display there too. Also, George C. Marshall Museum is there.
Haymarket also has a museum of civil war history. Appomattox is not terribly far off I-81.
