Cleveland Oh

Looking for RV Park for visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Also wanting other thing to do in Cleveland. Thanks
  • We have an office in Berea Ohio, which is a suburb of Cleveland.. When I visit there with the camper, I stay at the Streetsboro KOA..

It is about a 45 minute ride right up interstate 480 to the hall of fame from their campground.. It is clean and a nice place to stay..

I found several other campgrounds locally, but could not find any with full hook ups. . .

    Streetsboro KOA
  • Do a google search for `Cleveland tourism' for things to do.
    X2 on Streetsboro.
  • If you are a wine drinker look at the Madison / Thompson KOA out East. It's a nice camp and you'd be near about 25 wineries (within about 20 mile radius) and about 40 minutes to downtown Cleveland.
I grew up in Madison which is right on Lake Erie. There are 8 or so covered bridges (if you are into that) in the area. Geneva on the Lake is the next town east of there and in the summer is a destination for tourism (it's gone downhill a bit in the last 20 years but we always seem to visit when in the area). About 1/2 way to Cleveland from there is Headlands Park or Fairport Harbor that have pretty nice beaches. Cleveland also has a bunch of other museums and a great theater district. If you're a gambler there are a couple casino's in the area (one in downtown and another out in the Southern suburbs). The football HOF is in Canton about 1.5 miles down the road.
  • Just "did" that - stayed at Streetsboro (fine location) - visited R&R Hall of Fame. Don't bother! Go to Hard Rock Cafe insterad!!! H of F was nothing. See my (and others) reviews on Trip Advisor. The Great lakes Science Museum next door, however, was a blast! Had a lot of fun there! ST

Now to each his/ her own.. We visited there and really enjoyed it..

The movies about the different singers, and time lines were really cool to see . . Would I create a trip around the Hall, no/ BUT if in the Cleveland area, no sense NOT to see it... Just my opinion
  • Thanks for the replies we are going through Cleveland on a summer trip. Have always wanted to go to the R&R Hall.
  • We LOVED our relatively recent visit to Cleveland. We went a bunch of places. I blogged about it starting here.

    Check it out!
