Site #13, west rim campground in June 2014.
Really aren't many bad sites, yes some are better than others but... Cloudland does not have 50 amp service at all sites, but does have twin 30 amp plugs. Cheater box works well. - LamanExplorer

West Canyon B loop definitely. Keep in mind that with Georgia State Parks, it's first come first served to give everyone a chance at a site.
Great park, great staff.
Actually you can make reservations at Ga. State Parks I have done it many times. They usually don't assign a particular site but will reserve space.
We were at Cloudland Canyon last fall and enjoyed it very much. Lots of hiking trails and close to the Civil War battlefield sites of Lookout Mt. and Chickamauga.
One caution is when you get to the check-in station there is almost no parking, you will have to pull off the road and hope no one backs into you.
Laman, if you read further up the thread you will see we were talking about the fact that reservations one makes aren't site specific, i.e. first come first served.
We stay regularly at GSPs during our commutes between family and have even bought a Friends of the GA State Parks membership which saves us quite a bit of money.
Well it's first come first serve if there are any sites left over by the people who have made reservations ahead of time so you might not have a chance to pick your "first come first serve" site.;)
