Both are nice campgrounds but Cochiti side has the new area called Buffalo Grove that is very nicely equipped with W/E, large table, and patio. There is an area that allows swimming with covered tables not too far from the shore. The older section that has W/E, and some have patios is called Juniper loop. Nothing really wrong with that older section, but it is quite far away from the playground and from the swimming area. It's about a 40 minute tow for us and is a place we frequent several times a year being so close. Have a great time!!!
