Colorado "Help with Change"

I've wanted to see the Aspens in the fall for many years, and I picked this year to go!! I've been dealing with health issues this summer and really need to get away and see some beauty. I'm wondering if we head further south to Colorado Springs to stay if there would be some nice drives in that area we could take and see some color. Also wondering when the color will be at it's best? Hopefully someone from the area will read this and give some advise. Thanks for any help!
