White Salmon is my hometown. The Bridge RV park on the river on the WA side of the Hood River Bridge which is not RV friendly and is at least a half mile long. Should have been torn down years ago. Can use the bridge at the Dalles east or Brdige of the Gods West. To my knowledge there are no WA State parks nearby on the River. We like Memaloose near the Dalles or Ainsworth near Troutdale both Oregon sttae parks and have full Hookups. There is a County Park near Hood River and a State Park near Hood river both just OK. The views from the WA side to me are better but and can climb Beacon Rock but the Oregon side provides access to the falls and the old highway is very scenic, and can visit Crwwoon Point Vista would do both sides. Also view more wind surfers. Fruit Blossums should still be out in Hood River in May. Either way can't go wrong.
