Connecticut State Parks - anyone been to these 2 recently?

Question

So, spring fever is kicking in with a vengeance.

In looking at some possible state park (dry camping or w/e if available) campgrounds, came across two that look interesting and I'm wondering if anyone here has been to them recently:

Black Rock State Park in Watertown, CT.

Lake Waramaug State Park in New Preston, CT.

Anyone been to them in the last year or so? Comments?

Hi, We stayed at Black Rock last year. We were in the circle closest to the path to the swimming area. Liked it a lot, the sites were big, it was quiet, grandkids enjoyed the lake.
Didn't use the bathrooms so can't comment.If we could take the dog would go there often.
