Guys:
What have you found to be the best system to control electric costs where they are charged in addition to your monthly rental?
What appliances generate the most energy costs, which ones should be used sparingly, and which appliances should be used on propane rather than electric?
Reason for asking.:
December electric = $42
January electric = $152
Same campground, same weather pattern.
I feel meter is incorrect. How can I prove it?
Thanks in advance,
John
find out when the "start of the month" reading is taken, copy down the reading and do the same for the "end of the month" reading. determine the KwH and the rate and do the math. if as you say everything was the same between Dec and Jan then either a mistake was made in one month or the other; the Dec read was not a read but an estimate; December was a partial month or the meter is wrong.
