Personally as one who has to go to work right now, if I could stay home, I would. If i were retired, I'd stay home. It's not forever.
In my local area, the hotspots are rest homes, and low income labor. Makes sense, the first have generally compromised immunes, and the latter have no choice but work in some challenging situations generally without social distancing. I at least have the advantage of being in a controlled office where everyone is paying attention to distancing and masks in common areas.
I'm terribly sad I have not seen my mom since February, but I'm understanding of her desire to distance from me and would rather have the next ten years with her than risk it for a visit now.
Yes RVing is relatively safe. Masks, hand washing, and distancing help. But fact is the more people you interact with, the higher your chances of crossing paths with an Covid positive person. At this point I just assume I'm an asymptomatic carrier, but I don't know (and won't know, as I cannot get a test locally unless I've got symptoms).
I treat every interaction as if I have it, and they have it. But by far the best is to limit interactions in the first place.
Stay safe! And if you are fortunate enough to be able to self isolate, take advantage of it.
