Covid 19 project completed

https://i.imgur.com/2RGNSCbl.jpg[/IMG[img][IMG]https://i.imgur.com/2RGNSCbl.jpg[/IMG[/img]I had been considering installing a generator tray on the A frame of our Airstream for quite some time. Well what with the crud running around and the need to avoid others I finally got it done.

I was able to gather the materials and fabricate the design in my head. It is made of 1 inch square tube and only added 11 pounds to the tongue after removing one of the propane tanks. I load a Westinghouse igen2500 onto the tray and it provides all of our energy needs. I do lock it to the frame with a cable lock. It is over the battery which I can still reach as necessary. It produces no vibration and the sound level is low. We have two carbon monitors and have not been alerted
  • Great idea for a project.
    But,,,, :?
You Do realize it was Covid 19 and it's approaching the end of 21.
  • Wandering,
I also hope you realize this project was conceived and completed some time ago.
After the initial assault on the world followed by the injections and then a somewhat return to the new normal I have time to post here.
    I'm old but I'm ?? slow. ??
  • Bgum, I'm right up there with you, trying to be a little light hearted.
2And the change in year numbers is an indication it's time to get back out and go. I worry about waiting too long at this point.
  • Within reason and caution we will try to return to some resemblance of normal. At our age we need to while we can.
