Crater Lake - Mazama Village check in procedures?
We're headed to Crater Lake - Mazama Village after the eclipse in August. We have reservations, but this is a campground that is first come first served even for the reservation sites.
1. Can anyone give me some good advice on how the check in procedure works?
2. And how the color coded campsites work?
3. Will it help to be there early? Or is it just a mad land rush at noon?
4. I know there are just a few electric sites. Are they first come, just like the rest of the sites, or are they a different color code?
We have a reservation for "RV site up to 50 ft total (no hook ups)".
