Crater Lake

Mazama campground at the south entrance is closes park. Most sites have no hook-ups.

We stayed right in the park at the campgrounds. Nice campgrounds cool little store. this was a great trip for us with the grandkids last summer. then went to La Pine OR state park and did the newberry caldron

And theIr campsites open late.

Great place. We have had serious snow on Labor Day. Once we had 4 bears crash our camp while we were still awake.

Book now for Mazama now if they have any left great place to stay

We visted Crater lake last year while we were staying at Seven Feathers in Canyonville Or. It was a full day trip but we took our time and walked around the old resort and grounds before taking a leisurely drive around the lake and stopped at many pull-outs.
We were back to 7F in time for dinner (great buffet!) and a swim in the indoor pool and spa.
Just another option for you. Either way, have a great time!

Diamond Lake has an RV park about 7 miles from the entrance. Never stayed there. I wouldn't take your rig into the Forest Service campgrounds at Diamond Lake.

A few Mazama campground sites are large enough for a 5th-wheel, but still looked tight to get into. Diamond Lake is a great place to camp. Recommend the RV park there as almost all of the Forest Service sites are too small for your trailer.

There is various sized sites at Mazama. You need to make reservations as soon as possible as the larger sites go quickly.Mazama Campground info

We stayed at Diamond Lake in a 35-ft fifth-wheel. My notes from the trip say "site not large but set among the tall pines."
