Creekwood Farms or Pride RV Parks, Waynesville, NC

Both campgrounds have similar reviews in rvparksreviews.com. Looks like they are next to each other from Satellite views! Can those who have tried both help us make up our minds please! Just DH and I going for about a week to the area. Need FHU, level sites, room for slides and awning, place for a campfire. Nothing fancy. Thanks in advance.

I disagree .........but don't we all.
Creekwood might be north of Pride but it is butted right up to Pride.
We love Pride much better. The mill has never bothered us at Pride.
Just personal choice I guess. More activities at Pride we feel.
Whichever you choose, drive over to see the elk across the mtn..

We've stayed at both places. Creekwood Farms is the best by a big margin. Maggie Valley area is the best in the Smokies. You won't hear the mill across the road from Pride since CF is further north.
