Croton Point Campground

I grew up near there and actually stayed there in a PU about ten years ago. The sites are basically in a grass field with few trees. Be careful of skunks. Our dog almost got sprayed in the middle of the night by a skunk that was hanging out in our site! Much of Croton Point used to be a landfill, but was closed and capped a few years back. I don't think that affects your stay, but may be why there were skunks!
