Not really walking distance but a very short drive. Train station is located at entrance to park. However from CG area to train station maybe 3 miles?
Too far to walk! - pa_travelerExplorerIs it walking distance to train? Would driving from Beacon be hectic traffic or an easy drive? thanks
- LantleyNomadCroton Point is a worthwhile spot. Full hooks ups,in a state park atmosphere. Convenient to the train. I stayed there a few years ago and I would stay there again.
- RVChippysExplorerThanks for the reviews!
- twins89ExplorerIf you want full hookups, this is the place. Easy train ride to Grand Central. Last I looked it was about 50 or 60 a night but you will need to factor the train ride into the city too. Compared to everything, this is where I would stay if going again. We enjoyed it. - tropical_ronExplorerWe have stayed there several times. It has been convenient for us visiting in the area. The RV park portion is older but well maintained. They built new restroom/showers a couple of years ago in the campground. The campground is away from the park and beach. Very quiet and nice level sites.
