Trying to think ahead for next years big trip(s) and can not decide where to go. Too many places and not enough time off! Some places we would like to go to: Key West, Upper Michigan, Upstate New ...

I am also thinking keys this year. I booked 9 days at Fort Clinch, directly on the beach. Amelia Island area. Wonderful place.
I don't know if I want to travel that way again tho right now after my trip to Clinch. Might put off keys til the following year.
being where I am in NC, beach destinations are easy but travel to some of the other places I can't wait get to is kinda hard. Long travel times and short vacation days LOL I know.
I saw people chatting about the Land of the Lakes. KY. Am going to research that now. Seems like a doable drive for us from NC to Kentucky. Sounds like a very nice area.
I am also planning out west. Told hubby in 3 years when kiddo is a bit older we are taking 6 weeks and driving out over summer. I am going for it :)
Going west is hard with SO MUCH drive time and if I get out there I want time to see alot of things. I don't want rush when I head west.
how about coast of alabama. I have been checking that area out also.
New Orleans area and all that is wonderful. Coast of Texas is drawing me out also.
It is hard. Put in alot of time driving, or enjoy something a bit closer and get to see the area for real vs. all the time in the truck.
