Thanks again for the info... I didn't realize that there were pet restrictions at the state park as well. We have a boxer so I guess the pet/electric loop would be our only option. I checked and there are no sites available on that loop for our trip dates. So, I guess we're back at the Double G...
I am familiar with I-68... I have driven it in a car many times and I know some of the grades can be steep. We live south of Wash DC so I am thinking we may try going out I-66 and then picking up either Rt. 50 from Winchester or Rt. 48 out of Strasburg (need to research the grades on both) and then over to Rt. 219 and into the Deep Creek area. It will be a little windy and slow in places but I really hate 65 mph Interstates when I'm towing... especially ones in the mountains.
