I feel sorry for the grandkids. I was taught to have a good retirement you need a three legged stool - Savings, SS, and a pension. How the young kids will retire on a two legged or even maybe a one legged stool I do not know.

It is refreshing though to see some young folks in the park as opposed to all us older types LOL

Sidenote: They're good respectful kids, just gets way to crowded for me (and the other old soaks around me.) Wanted to make sure readers don't think I was implying they were destructive like in some other parts of the country where Spring Breakers go.

You would have been very comfortable if you don't like crowds. It was a shock to our group of fifty singles. We were there, the others were not. Made for plenty of room on the dance floor.

Attended New Year's dance at Mission Bell RV park in Mission, Texas. What was a sellout five years ago had approximately thirty percent empty seats this year even with nearly perfect weather. A few years ago, they were selling reserved seating a full year in advance. This year anyone who showed up with $17.00 had many seats and tables to choose from. They even did away with the parking helpers. They were not needed this year.
