Camping opened here in Michigan late June, before that only boondocking and a few private parks that decided they were above the law.
Rustic federal forest campgrounds (no amenities, no hook-ups) I've frequented in years past and had no problems getting sites on weekends are now stuffed, even mid-week.
Definitely a large surge in the popularity of camping.
