Yep, not many lava flows or dinosaurs here in Michigan. ;)
It should be a unique experience for us. I would never go out of my way to see sand dunes, huge lakes or freighters. But, lava? yep that's different for Michiganians. I figured we'd go visit in the morning and move to Yellowstone in the evening. Should be enough time to see something new but not get bored or waste time when we could be elsewhere.
But this plan is a year and a half out and evolving weekly.
