While at Dinosaur NM, make sure you take the little side road that goes out to Josie Morris' cabin and past the petroglyphs on the cliffs above the road. These are probably the biggest display of such art and easy to get pictures. We camped in the park many years ago, it was a nice place. Don't think they have power though, so you may want to stay in Vernal at a great RV park along the road that goes north up to the Flaming Gorge area. That part of Utah and western Colorado is quite different from other locations of CO and UT, but worth your time. Butch Cassidy and the boys used to hang out in that country since it was remote and easy to lay low from the law. Visit the big museum in Vernal too, the kids will really have a good time!
