Right there with ya. We live about 45 minutes away, and I can't remember the last time we went to Disney and hadn't camped there since the 90s. We decided to go to Ft. Wilderness this past August for 3 nights. Won't be going back...as you said - crowded, expensive, and nothing special. I will give them that check-in was great.
We live a couple hours away and haven't been there in several years. Never camped there always use one of the State Parks.
