I hope you are going to spend a few days in the area and not just pass through. I believe it was from Muley Point, that we could see from Mesa Verde across past Monument Valley with all the great sites in between, Sleeping Ute included.
Moki Dugway is a very easy drive in a TV or towed. I'd even take the Winnie "down". Goosenecks is amazing, I'm guessing here but I'd bet you would travel about 30 or 40 miles on the water to traverse 10 miles in a straight line.
Other sites are Natural Bridges, Cedar Brakes, Valley of the Ancients, Canyonlands, Needles District. The drive into the Needles from Monticello is fantastic. Frist you drive up to the edge of the canyon, then you descend into the canyon through majestic sandstone formations. Some of the cliffs look like the First Nations, Spirit People. If you believe in them, it can be very inspirational but spooky.
There is so much to see and do there. All it takes is time and the ability to see the fun and beauty in those infamous desert roads.
