Dispersed camping Valley of the Gods

No we plan to go to Gooseneck, but just to stop for lunch and a visit.
D.E So far the plan is to come up from Monument Valley where we will top off everything and then drive to Gooseneck and check out the site. Then continue on to Valley of the Gods (I have a horrid fear of heights so Moki Dugway is out of the question)
Then I'm thinking we might want to go to Sand Island and spend a couple of nights, but for sure we are going to Hovenweep for a time. Lucky for us, we are retired and on our own time. Thanks for the information.
