Hi, we are looking for LA area CG's, and obviously there are not many. People seem to like Dockweiler, and I find it remarkable that more have not complained about the noise from LAX. So for those of you who stayed, is it the problem I would guess? My wife is not the soundest sleeper ...Thanks,Steve

It is noisy, but not as bad as a few years ago. I can handle it for about 3 nights.

The noise is not any worse than being close to a FWY most of the day.It isn't constant like FWY noise.The quiet hours for departures that come near Dockweiler is from 10 PM until 7 AM.But be ready to be up By 7 AM they will be right on schedule. :BWe stay there about every 2 months or so,it is a easy place to get to for us and if you have a Motorhome you can get into every space,Trailers have about half the options because of the way it is configured.

The bigger issue for me, with a long 5er/truck, is that I have to park my truck many rows away from my coach.

Not many transient sites but you are lucky if you can score one

Its all about the location at Dockweiler - and the price is not horrible for LA who cares about the noise
