Dockweiler noise

We stayed there a week in June. I was working in Century City and commuting in from there. One morning there was a smell from the refinery or treatment facility. The rest of th week the wind was out of the west and the only smell was barbecues and campfires. It is a paved pairing lot with FHUs right on the beach. Honestly the noise was not bad and definitely no jet fumes.

I worked at the EL Segundo Power Plant for 5 yrs.

I know what went into those waters.....from both power plants, refinery and waste treatment plant.

No I don't stay at Dockweiler and it has nothing to do with LAX/planes

LOL - but you can't smell the sewer plant.

And close to:

Scattergood Power plant, Hyperion Sewage Treatment Plant, Chevron Oil Refinery & Off Shore Transfer Station and the El Segundo Power Plant.

But it is close to the beach :B

We stayed near the gate and my wife hated the noise. Don't know if it might be better down at the other end - further from the flight path.

Other than the noise, it is very close to the beach....... Sites are a bit tight, but again - it is close to the beach....

I love the smell of jet fuel with my morning coffee

The bigger issue for me, with a long 5er/truck, is that I have to park my truck many rows away from my coach.
