Dover Speedway Camping October
Does anyone have suggestions on where to camp for the October NASCAR race in Dover? We've dry camped at several tracks in the past so we know what to expect.

- If you have and CONTACTS with Home Depot or Lowes or even Walmart I would definitely use them. They have spots available and they are right across from the track.
Otherwise it is every man, women and child for themselves. Not sure you want to be in the many dry camping areas they have around. If it rains they do have tractors that will pull you out.
It is a great time and a great event but good planning is essential.

- Dover Downs and Casino allows overnight stays, but on Race week at the speedway I'm not sure how,,,,, sane, it will be.

Me, I'd stay on Assateague island on the Va/Md line. several parks in the area.
Are you by any chance able to use Military facilities? if so Bethany beach training site in Delaware FHU $22 a day.
