Drinking Water
As we've been doing more trips in the southwest we've had to hunt down water as often as not, filling 6 and 1 gallon water jugs and bringing them back to the camper to refill the tank and for drinking. The question keeps popping up if the water from the source safe for drinking? We currently do not have a filter of any sort.
I do sanitize the on board system once or twice a year, right or wrong we do not drink out of the on board fresh water tank. We use either new 1 gallon jugs, or refills of the same.
I'm thinking about a 5" water filter under the sink and one of those little dedicated cod water faucets. Don't have room for a big setup, looking at a little 5" cartridge.
How do you handle providing drinking water?
Like to think I'm not paranoid about this, I have no trouble drinking out of the hose at home. DW, not so much.
