I use a countertop gravity filtration system . Mine is a Berkey System, here's a Link
I'm currently using Pro One G 2.0 7" Water Filter elements in my Berkey.
These filters are capable of cleaning any fresh water source better than your tap water at your S&B.
Pond scum water can even be cleaned up!
Next time I buy filters I think I'll buy Alexapure Pro filters.
BTW I have a shower filter as well.
