WE drove over and checked out Friday Creek camp ground, it is also a thousand trails but open to the public, But I'd not advise taking a 40' coach in there turns with in a grounds are very narrow and tight.
I would simply park at the Skagit Speed Way they have a huge field, level but no hook ups. there are up to 10 coaches there all summer. The Whispering Firs camp grounds have only 6-10 spots for a 40' coach, I'd call ahead to see if they have room for ya.
The KOA 2 miles north of Cook Road exit is probably your best bet. it's a nice camp ground with full hookups
