I will second the Lightner Creek suggestion. We haven't stayed there since the new owners took over. We went to Durango last year (KOA) for the first time in about 10 years. At that time they only had about 3 50 amp campsites. The road in was also under construction and it was a little difficult to get to but doable according to the campground owner. He allowed us to drive through and check things out. Appeared the campground was still the same as before he bought it. If we go back to Durango again I will consider staying there if a 50 amp site is availabble.
