X2. I've used available lodges many times over the years. Always call ahead and don't forget to ask for specific concerns about approaching the lodge.

And some don't allow RVs like Kingman. Get the Elk Travel Guides as they contain information for each lodge.

Some take reservations and some are first come first served. We use them a lot.
