Our first year snow-birding found us leaving Cape Cod at the end of October, down the east coast to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas in Florida, then north and out the panhandle.
We continued west through Mississippi, Louisiana and onto the Bolivar Peninsula in Texas. We scrubbed plans to hit the RGV this trip and started back north. We were in Shreveport just before the big flooding rains in March and now we're in Texarkana, still headed west.
The plan is to hit Oklahoma, then head back to Missouri to visit with the DD, and start for home on the 2nd week of April.
The goal was to not see any snow at all this winter. So far, so good.
