Extended Stay campgrounds around Denver

We plan on going to Denver next summer to visit our kids/grandchildren. We want a nice campground that is an extended stay for the summer with full hookups. Any recommendations?

  • It is farther than that across metro Denver.I have stayed in Colorado Springs to visit a daughter in southern part of Drnver. Drove about 48 miles to her house. I stayed at Buckley and drove about 20 miles to visit another daughter in denver. Can't help too much if don't have an idea of where one would like to be close to
  • Tough to find one. For extended stay might try flying saucer RV park on 285 and Federal. It is an old mobile home park now converted to only RV's. Lots of long term and not the greatest but not bad. Lots of trees and grass.it is in Littleton which is south side of Denver. A very nice mobile home and RV park around the corner from them but they do not allow any dogs. If you are an Elks member, Westminster lodge has a full hook up park.if military, Buckly AFB has nice famcamp.
  • unfortunately not many options in Denver area. I would look at nearby towns. We ended up staying at the KOA in Fort Collins. They do have monthly rates although not cheap. It is a really nice park. Denver is such a huge city it would help to know what area ie, north, east, south or west Denver. I would look at www.rvparkreviews.com and pick the best option.
