notice that there are no RV parks on our list? :)
That's because adults are responding. My kids love state parks, but they also love rv parks with a passion. My daughter's absolute favorite campground is a yogi bear in Indiana that has 3 pools and water slides, golf carts, etc. It's ridiculously packed with people and activities.
My boys' favorite is a KOA in Michigan with pools, bumper boats, and go cart track. It costs $40/kid/day to go cart. Lakes at state parks are free. Parents usually prefer free. ;-)
