Winter Camping ---- Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge TN

Weekend getaway camping ---- Scenic Mountain RV Park, Milledgeville GA or River Bend, Hiawassee GA

for big fish and best scenery it's horn lake.it's 300 km's from the nearest city.next is crescent lake.50 fish days are common.it has 2 campsites,both lakeside.it's 80 km's down a dirt road,also waay in the middle of nowhere.

Our favorite for a quick getaway for just me & DW Winhall Brook COE, VT :C

Love Assateague!

I hope the campground has turned around, but about 14 yrs ago we did not have a good experience at kampersville.

My favorite camping spot is just a short walk away from my favorite fishing spot.

Sam's Family Spa Resort in Desert Hot Springs is always on my mind when it's winter and I need a break from the rain and cold. Their hot mineral pools are awesome.

Pipestem Resort State Park in West Virginia has almost everything you could want. Sites with full hookups,golf,mini gold,horseback riding,archery,nature walks, indoor and outdoor pools, 2 restaurants,cabins, lodges etc. We also enjoyed Buck Creek Lake State Park in Ohio has sites with electric, a nice lake with swimming beaches,nice camp store,laundry etc. Lot's of room between sites. Sherando Lake and Goose Point in Virginia are very nice. Both have electric hookups, a lake with swimming beach. Some of the sites at Goose Point are right on the water. We also loved Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina. Most sites have water and electric but they also have some full hookup sites.It is a short walk to the beach and they have a great nature program. Atallya, the house where the Huntington's lived is open for tours and you are close to Murrels Inlet where there are some very good restaurants like Drunken Jacks.

North Point SRA in South Dakota is impressive.
